SF第5戦 九州大会 オートポリス今週末(5/17~18)開催！

2025 全日本スーパーフォーミュラ選手権は5月17日(土)～18日(日) オートポリス（大分県日田市）にて開催されます。オートポリスサーキットは全長4,674m、標高800mの場所に位置し高低差は実に52mにもなる日本でも非常に難しくドライビングテクニックを要するコースです。またそのコースの難易度だけではなく標高が高いため、気温や湿度、風向き等もレース展開に大きく左右するコースとも言えます。同コースのSFでのコースレコードはTEAM MUGEN #16 野尻智紀選手が2020年に記録した1'24.140。昨年の同レース予選結果ではベストの選手でも1'26秒台の選手が21名中2名しかおらず、それよりも約2.5秒も上回る今も破られていないとてつもない記録となりました。

The 2025 Super Formula Championship will be held on May 17 (Saturday) and 18 (Sunday) at Autopolis in Hita City, Oita Prefecture. The Autopolis circuit is 4,674 meters long and located at an elevation of 800 meters. With a height difference of 52 meters, it is known as one of the most technically demanding tracks in Japan, requiring exceptional driving skills. In addition to the challenging course layout, the high altitude causes fluctuations in temperature, humidity, and wind direction, all of which can greatly influence race outcomes.

The Super Formula lap record for this circuit is held by Tomoki Nojiri of TEAM MUGEN (#16), who set a time of 1'24.140 in 2020. In last year’s qualifying session for the same race, only two of the 21 drivers managed to achieve times in the 1'26 range. This makes Nojiri’s record an extraordinary achievement, standing approximately 2.5 seconds faster than the rest and still unbeaten.

Our company proudly supports Ayumu Iwasa of TEAM MUGEN (#15) as a sponsor. In 2024, during only his second Super Formula race, he impressively secured his first-ever pole position in the qualifying session at Autopolis. Although he narrowly missed out on victory and finished in second place in the final, he returns to Autopolis this year with a strong determination to “retrieve what was left behind.” So far in the 2025 season, Iwasa has shown excellent performance: 2nd place in Round 1 at Suzuka, 3rd in Round 2 at Suzuka, DNF due to a shift trouble in Round 3 at Motegi, and a solid 3rd place in Round 4 at Motegi. Except for the troubled third round, he has been on the podium in every race. Furthermore, with significant improvements in car setup since Round 4, expectations are high for a strong performance at Autopolis—a circuit where he has shown great strength.
