2025年SF最終戦鈴鹿 TEAM MUGEN 岩佐歩夢選手が逆転で初の王座獲得!!

2025年シーズンの全日本スーパーフォーミュラ選手権（SF）は23日、三重県・鈴鹿サーキットで第12戦（最終戦）が行われ、JALOXがスポンサーとして応援し続けたTEAM MUGENの岩佐歩夢選手（23）がポール・トゥ・ウィンで見事優勝。年間ポイント224とし、僅か4.5ポイント差で坪井翔選手（VANTELIN TEAM TOM’S）を劇的に大逆転。自身SFシーズン2年目にしてシリーズチャンピオンを初めて獲得しました。

The 2025 All-Japan Super Formula Championship (SF) held its 12th and final round on the 23rd at Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture. Ayumu Iwasa (23) of TEAM MUGEN—continuously supported by sponsor JALOX—achieved a brilliant pole-to-win victory. He finished the season with 224 points, dramatically overturning a 4.5-point deficit to Sho Tsuboi of VANTELIN TEAM TOM’S, capturing his first-ever series championship in only his second SF season.

SF最終戦となる第12戦決勝は鈴鹿サーキットにて31周で争われ、スタート直後から岩佐選手が主導権を握り、追い上る2位以下のライバルを終始抑え優勝を勝ち取りました。序盤はフロントロー予選2位からスタートしたチームメートの野尻智紀選手と坪井翔選手の素晴らしい戦いが見られる等、終始激しいレース展開。岩佐選手も周回を重ねるごとに後続からのプレッシャーが増す展開となりましたが、岩佐選手は冷静にタイヤをマネジメントしながらレースを掌握。中盤以降も危なげない走りで首位を譲らず、終盤の佐藤蓮選手（PONOS NAKAJIMA RACING）からの追い上げにも動じることなく見事、最終チェッカーを受けました。

The final race of the season, Round 12, was contested over 31 laps at Suzuka Circuit. Iwasa took control immediately after the start, holding off the chasing pack throughout the race to secure the win. Early on, a fierce battle unfolded between teammate Tomoki Nojiri, who started from P2 on the front row, and Sho Tsuboi, creating intense action from the outset. As the laps progressed, pressure mounted from the drivers behind, but Iwasa calmly managed his tires and maintained command of the race. In the second half, he never relinquished the lead, and even a strong late charge by Ren Sato (PONOS NAKAJIMA RACING) could not shake him as he took the checkered flag in style.

2位には佐藤蓮選手（PONOS NAKAJIMA RACING）、3位には太田格之進（DOCOMO TEAM DANDELION RACING）が入賞しました。タイトルを争っていた坪井選手は第11戦までのリードを維持できず、最終戦は8位に終わり、惜しくも連覇を逃しました。

Ren Sato (PONOS NAKAJIMA RACING) finished second, and Kakunoshin Ohta (DOCOMO TEAM DANDELION RACING) completed the podium in third. Tsuboi, who had been leading the championship until Round 11, could not retain his advantage and finished eighth in the final race, narrowly missing out on back-to-back titles.

TEAM MUGEN岩佐選手は今季、開幕直後こそ表彰台をものにしたものの、シーズン中盤は若干苦戦しながらも表彰台獲得を重ね、終盤で一気に流れを引き寄せる結果となりました。特に目立ったのが最終鈴鹿サーキットで行われた第11・12戦での予選ポールポジション獲得でした。この予選で6ポイント獲得したことならびに最終12戦目でのレース運びが自身初となる年間ドライバーズチャンピオンを引き寄せた結果となり、岩佐選手の成長と速さを象徴した形となりました。TEAM MUGENとしても大きなタイトル獲得であり、若手エースの躍進に強い手応えをつかむ一年となりました。尚、TEAM MUGENとして年間チームランキングは惜しくも2位となりました。

Although TEAM MUGEN’s Ayumu Iwasa began the season with a podium finish immediately after the opening round, he faced some challenges in the mid-season. Nevertheless, he continued to accumulate podium results and ultimately seized the momentum toward the end. What stood out in particular were his pole positions in Rounds 11 and 12, both held at Suzuka Circuit. The six points he earned from those qualifying sessions, combined with his outstanding performance in the final Round 12 race, proved decisive in securing his first-ever Drivers’ Championship. It was a result that symbolized Iwasa’s growth and remarkable speed. For TEAM MUGEN, it was also a major accomplishment, marking a year in which they gained strong confidence from the breakthrough of their young ace. The team, however, finished second in the overall Team Championship standings.

最終戦の鈴鹿では、6万人以上もの多くの観客がスタンドを埋め、逆転王者誕生の瞬間に大きな歓声が終始上がりました。SFシリーズは今年、12戦体制で開催され、タイトル争いは最終戦まで激しく競り合う形で推移。スーパーフォーミュラの魅力である接戦のレースとそれを技術的、精神的にサポートし続けられた田中監督率いるTEAM MUGENの団結力と集中力、チームメイトとしてまたライバルでもありその豊富なドライバー経験でサポートし続けられた野尻智紀選手の力が加わって岩佐歩夢選手のドライバーズランキング4位からの劇的な大逆転優勝という最高の結果を導いたと確信できます。

At the final round in Suzuka, more than 60,000 spectators filled the grandstands, and thunderous cheers erupted throughout the circuit at the moment the new champion emerged. This year’s SF series was held over 12 rounds, with the title battle remaining fiercely contested all the way to the final race. The hallmark close racing of Super Formula—combined with the unity and focus of TEAM MUGEN under Team Director Tanaka, who continuously provided technical and mental support, as well as the contribution of Tomoki Nojiri, both a teammate and a rival whose extensive driving experience supported the effort—led to what we firmly believe was the decisive factor in Ayumu Iwasa’s dramatic comeback victory, rising from fourth in the standings to claim the championship.
