Ayumu Iwasa made his debut in the Super Formula Championship with TEAM MUGEN in 2024. In his rookie season that year, he finished 5th in the overall Drivers’ Championship standings. Thanks to his consistent performance and excellent driving technique, he was awarded the 2024 Super Formula Rookie of the Year.
In the 2025 Super Formula Round 8 at Sportsland SUGO, held in rainy conditions, he achieved his first Super Formula victory. Later, at the season finale held in November at Suzuka Circuit, he captured his second memorable victory, completing a dramatic comeback to win the 2025 Super Formula Drivers’ Championship.
Since 2021, during his time competing in the FIA Formula 3 Championship, he has been under contract as a member of the Red Bull Junior Team.
He currently also serves as a reserve driver for the Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team in Formula One.
He is originally from Osaka Prefecture, Japan.

Nojiri Tomoki (野尻智紀)
Tomoki Nojiri secured pole position at the opening round of the 2025 Super Formula Championship held at Suzuka Circuit.
In Round 2, he claimed his 21st career pole position, breaking the previous record set by earlier drivers.
By the end of the 2025 season, he had achieved an astonishing 23 pole positions, establishing himself as a legendary driver in the series.
He also won the Super Formula Drivers’ Championship in both 2021 and 2022, and with his extensive racing experience, remarkable intelligence, and exceptional decision-making ability, he is aiming once again for championship titles in both Super Formula and the Super GT this year.
He is originally from Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, and serves as a Red Bull athlete, as well as an Ibaraki Ambassador and a Hometown Ambassador for Chikusei City, Ibaraki.
