日本時間4月11日（金）20:30から行われたF1 バーレーンGP、フリー走行1回目（以下FP1）において弊社がスポンサーを務める岩佐歩夢選手がOracle Red Bull RacingのドライバーとしてF1王者のマックス フェルスタッペン選手のマシンに搭乗し、カーナンバー37を付け周回を重ねました。

On Friday, April 11th (Bahrain Local Time), from 14:30, during the first free practice session (FP1) of the F1 Bahrain Grand Prix, our sponsored driver, Ayumu Iwasa, took the wheel of reigning F1 champion Max Verstappen’s car as a driver for Oracle Red Bull Racing, driving with car number 37, and he completed multiple laps on the circuit.

FP1開始と同時にコース上1番に出走を開始、データ収集を行いながら新品のミディアムタイヤで4周走行を重ね、ピットイン後も新品や中古のミディアムタイヤを装着しながら安定した走行で合計20周を無事に走行し確実なデータをチームへ送ることに成功したと思われます。

At the start of FP1, Ayumu Iwasa was the first to take to the track, beginning his run as soon as the session commenced. While collecting data, he completed four laps on a fresh set of medium tires. After pitting, he continued with both new and used medium tires, maintaining a stable performance and successfully completing a total of 20 laps. It is believed that he provided the team with valuable and reliable data.

FP1後の岩佐歩夢選手からの情報によりますと、高速コーナーでのピーキーさは思っているほどではなくステアリングの切り込みに対してレスポンスが良いというマシン印象であったとのことです。また全てミディアムタイヤでの走行とデータ収集ならびにフィードバックに対してチームからの高い評価を得られたとの情報を頂けました。

According to Ayumu Iwasa after FP1, the car was not as peaky in the high-speed corners as he had expected, and he felt that the response to steering input was very good. He also completed all his laps on medium tires, and the team highly appreciated the data he collected and the feedback he provided.

同マシンは先週に行われたF1 日本GP（鈴鹿サーキット）でのマックス フェルスタッペン選手の優勝マシンでもあるだけに絶対にミスが許されない中でマシンへの洞察力と安定したドライビングテクニックを併せ持つ岩佐歩夢選手の実力が十分発揮できたFP1走行となりました。

This car was the very machine that Max Verstappen drove to victory at last week’s F1 Japanese Grand Prix (Suzuka Circuit), making it imperative to avoid any mistakes. Under such pressure, Iwasa demonstrated his keen insight into the car and his consistently stable driving technique, fully showcasing his capabilities during FP1.

尚、岩佐歩夢選手を含み同じOracle Red Bull Racingの角田裕毅選手、HAAS F1より平川亮選手の日本人3名がF1で同時に出走するのは歴史的な出来事と言えます。

Furthermore, it is a historic moment for three Japanese drivers—Ayumu Iwasa, Yuki Tsunoda from Oracle Red Bull Racing, and Ryo Hirakawa from HAAS F1—to be on track simultaneously in an F1 session.
