5月22日（金）～24日（日）、国内最高峰フォーミュラカテゴリー「全日本スーパーフォーミュラ選手権」の次戦は、伝統の鈴鹿サーキットを舞台に熱戦を迎えます。

世界的にも名高い鈴鹿サーキットは、高速域での安定性と繊細なマシンコントロールの両方が求められる、日本屈指のテクニカルコースです。

ドライバーの実力が色濃く表れるコースとして知られ、多くのトップドライバーたちが“特別なサーキット”として名前を挙げています。

シーズン中盤へ向かう重要な局面の中、各チーム・各ドライバーにとってタイトル争いを左右する重要な一戦となります。

From May 22 (Fri) to May 24 (Sun), the next round of the Super Formula Championship — Japan’s premier formula racing category — heads to the legendary Suzuka Circuit for another thrilling race weekend.

Widely recognized around the world, Suzuka Circuit is one of Japan’s most technical tracks, demanding both high-speed stability and delicate car control.

Known as a circuit where driver skill is clearly reflected in lap time, many top drivers regard Suzuka as a “special circuit.”

As the season moves toward its midpoint, this round is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the championship battle for both teams and drivers alike.

【世界屈指のテクニカルコース・鈴鹿】

鈴鹿サーキットは、1周5.8kmを超えるロングレイアウトを持ち、高速コーナーとテクニカルセクションが複雑に組み合わさった難関コースです。

特に序盤のS字コーナーでは、マシンバランスとドライバーのリズム感が問われ、わずかなミスがラップタイムへ大きく影響します。

さらに、デグナーカーブやスプーンカーブ、130Rといった高速セクションでは、ドライバーの高い集中力と正確なライン取りが求められます。

予選ではコンマ1秒を争う緊張感が漂い、決勝ではタイヤマネジメントや戦略面も勝敗を左右することから、毎年見応えあるレースが展開されています。

[Suzuka — One of the World’s Finest Technical Circuits]

Suzuka Circuit features a challenging layout stretching over 5.8 km per lap, combining high-speed corners with complex technical sections.

The famous opening Esses in particular demand excellent car balance and rhythmic precision from the driver, where even the slightest mistake can significantly affect lap times.

In addition, high-speed sections such as Degner Curves, Spoon Curve, and 130R require immense concentration and pinpoint accuracy in racing line selection.

Qualifying sessions at Suzuka are often decided by mere tenths — or even hundredths — of a second, while race strategy and tire management frequently become key factors in determining the final outcome, producing dramatic and highly competitive racing year after year.
