VCARB 岩佐歩夢選手 イタリア・イモラでTPCへ

岩佐歩夢選手はSF富士スピードウェイ（静岡県小山市）での公式テスト後も多忙なスケジュールをこなしながら世界で戦っている。岩佐選手は6月6日から行われたSF富士スピードウェイ公式テスト2日目においてトップタイムを記録、SF公式テスト後、多くのスケジュールを遂行し無事に13日から15日にカナダ・モントリオールで開催されたF1カナダGP帯同を終えていた。

Ayumu Iwasa continues to compete on the world stage while managing a busy schedule following the official Super Formula test at Fuji Speedway (Oyama, Shizuoka Prefecture). On the second day of the official Super Formula test held from June 6 at Fuji Speedway, Iwasa recorded the fastest lap time. After the test, he completed a packed schedule and successfully accompanied the F1 Canadian Grand Prix held in Montreal from June 13 to 15.

帰国後18日には岩佐選手の地元、大阪府にある学校法人ホンダ学園ホンダテクニカルカレッジ関西での講演、20日には北海道鷹栖テストコースにてホンダ車との撮影を行っている。そのような中で岩佐選手に関する大きなニュースが飛び込んで来た。

After returning to Japan, on June 18, Iwasa gave a lecture at Honda Technical College Kansai, located in his hometown of Osaka Prefecture. Then, on June 20, he participated in a photo shoot with Honda vehicles at the Takasu Test Course in Hokkaido. Amidst such a busy schedule, major news regarding Iwasa broke.

Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team （VCARB）が岩佐選手を緊急招集しイタリア・イモラサーキットにて23日、TPC「Testing of Previous Cars」（旧型マシンでのテスト走行）を行ったのだ。VCARBがテストに準備したのは2023年アルファタウリのAT04。

The Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team (VCARB) urgently called up Ayumu Iwasa for a "Testing of Previous Cars" (TPC) session, which took place on the 23rd at Italy's Imola Circuit. For the test, VCARB prepared the 2023 AlphaTauri AT04.

岩佐選手は「数少ない走行機会を活かし更に良い自分のパフォーマンスを出し切って、改めていつでも搭乗の準備ができていることをアピールしたい」と強い意志を持ち語った。

Iwasa expressed his strong determination, saying, “I want to make the most of this rare driving opportunity to deliver my best performance and show once again that I’m always ready to step in.”

現在、TCP後の情報はないものの、弊社も岩佐選手の言葉を信じて日本から強く応援したい。尚、TCP終了後はイギリスへ入り、2週間連続でリザーブドライバーとしての仕事をこなすと同時に、今週末27日から3日間行われるF1第11戦オーストリアGP（レッドブル・リンク）に帯同する。

Although there is currently no information following the TPC session, we firmly believe in Iwasa’s words and will continue to support him strongly from Japan. After the TPC, he traveled to the United Kingdom, where he will fulfill his duties as a reserve driver for two consecutive weeks. He is also accompanying the team at the Formula 1 Round 11 Austrian Grand Prix (Red Bull Ring), which will be held over three days starting on the 27th of this week.
