SF第8戦 東北大会 スポーツランドSUGO今週末開催！

2025全日本スーパーフォーミュラ選手権（SF）第8戦 東北大会がスポーツランドSUGO（宮城県村田町）にて8月9日（土）予選、8月10日（日）決勝の予定で開催されます。昨年は大雨の中、レース中断・中止となりレース周回数が75%未満で終了したため、得点が半分で中止になった悔しさを返上するためにも今週末の天気が晴天になることを祈るばかりです。

The 8th round of the 2025 Super Formula Championship (SF) is scheduled to take place at Sportsland SUGO in Murata Town, Miyagi Prefecture, with qualifying on Saturday, August 8, and the final race on Sunday, August 9. Last year’s race was halted and ultimately canceled due to heavy rain, with the number of laps completed falling short of 75%, resulting in only half points being awarded. This year, we are hoping for clear skies to make up for that disappointment.

2025年度は全12戦で行われるSF。今回の第8戦SUGOを含め残り5戦となり、チームならびにドライバーにとって1戦1戦のミスが許されない緊迫した熾烈な戦いとなります。

The 2025 SF season consists of 12 rounds in total. Including this 8th round at SUGO, only five rounds remain, making every race a critical battle where neither teams nor drivers can afford any mistakes.　

弊社が応援するTEAM MUGENは後半戦に差しかかった第6,7戦富士スピードウェイ（静岡県小山町）でマシントラブルもなく安定した走りを見せ両マシンセッティングが良い方向であるのは間違いないと思われます。またTEAM MUGENドライバーであるNo.15 岩佐歩夢選手、No.16 野尻智紀選手も予選、決勝と素晴らしい走りを見せ、TEAM MUGENとして岩佐歩夢選手は連日表彰台に上がっているだけに第8戦SUGOでのレースは非常に期待が持てると言えるでしょう。

TEAM MUGEN, whom our company proudly supports, demonstrated stable performance with no mechanical issues in rounds 6 and 7 at Fuji Speedway in Oyama Town, Shizuoka Prefecture. Both machines appear to be set up in the right direction. TEAM MUGEN drivers, No.15 Ayumu Iwasa and No.16 Tomoki Nojiri, also delivered excellent performances in both qualifying and the finals. With Ayumu Iwasa consistently reaching the podium, expectations are high for another strong showing at the 8th round in SUGO.

付け加えて昨年の同サーキット予選ではNo.16 野尻智紀選手が予選ポールポジションを獲得、No.15 岩佐歩夢選手が2位とフロントローを独占したTEAM MUGEN。チームとしても両ドライバーとしても得意なコースであることは間違いなくこの点からも今回のSUGOでのレースに期待がかかります。

In last year’s qualifying session at the same SUGO circuit, TEAM MUGEN dominated the front row, with No.16 Tomoki Nojiri securing pole position and No.15 Ayumu Iwasa taking second place. This clearly demonstrates that both the team and its drivers have a strong affinity for this circuit, further raising expectations for their performance in this weekend’s race at SUGO.

この第8戦SUGOでTEAM MUGENとして予選フロントローならびに上位表彰台のポイントを獲得することができれば、一気にDOCOMO TEAM DANDELION RACINGに近づくことができ、ドライバー順位も上位者混戦状態になるためチームとして今後のレースが戦いやすくなることは間違いありません。第9,10戦は再び富士スピードウェイに戻るだけにTEAM MUGENならびに両ドライバーにとって第8戦東北大会 SUGOでのレースが非常に重要な鍵となることでしょう。

If TEAM MUGEN can once again secure the front row in qualifying and achieve top podium finishes in this 8th round at SUGO, they will significantly close the gap with DOCOMO TEAM DANDELION RACING in the standings. Additionally, with the drivers’ rankings currently in a tight battle, earning strong points here will put the team in a more advantageous position for the remaining races. With rounds 9 and 10 set to return to Fuji Speedway, this 8th round in Tohoku at SUGO becomes a pivotal race for TEAM MUGEN and both drivers. It is no exaggeration to say that this could be the most important race of the season for them.
